August 30th, 2010:
We left Scituate yesterday. The house finally looks great and ready to enjoy, just in time to leave it. We decided to come down to Greenwich for one night so the girls could swim in the pool for a little bit before we head back to Taft. It has been an unusual summer, not very relaxing. We have had the chaos of the three kids, including Molly's colic. And the constant work on the house has been tough. I think next summer will be great with everything ready to go. Here is a wrap up of our summer:
June was spent mostly in Greenwich hanging in the pool while we stayed close to home for doctor's appointments and waiting for Molly to arrive. Molly joined us on June 29th. When Molly turned two weeks old we headed up to Scituate and spent July and August there working like dogs to get the house ready to rent. We went to Martha's Vineyard twice with Donna and Lou and had a fun time with all of the cousins at the beach. LaLa and Eddie came to visit in Scituate and did a tremendous amount of work to help us get the house ready. Today is our last real day of vacation, James has faculty meetings tomorrow which means I am home alone with the three kids which I am nervous about.
